In short: the app doesn’t ask for an account and doesn’t collect information about you or send it to us. Player names and settings stay on your phone. Ads in the app are served by Google AdMob, and Google processes some device information for advertising under its own policy.
This policy explains what information the “Doğruluk mu Cesaret mi?” (Truth or Dare) mobile app (“the App”), developed by XanApps (Gökhan Eksan), uses and how.
Information stored on your device
Player names you add, the game mode you choose and your settings are stored only on your device. They are not sent to us or to any other server, and they are deleted when you uninstall the App.
Information we don’t collect
The App doesn’t ask you to create an account. It doesn’t access or collect personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, location, contacts, photos or microphone. We don’t run our own analytics or tracking.
Advertising (Google AdMob)
The App is free and shows ads through AdMob, Google’s advertising service. To serve and measure ads, Google may collect and process:
- Your device’s advertising ID (Android Advertising ID, or iOS IDFA if you allow it)
- IP address and approximate location (country/city level, estimated from the IP address)
- Technical information such as device model, operating system and language
- Your interactions with ads (impressions and clicks)
This data is processed directly by Google under Google’s own policies; we don’t receive information that personally identifies you. Learn more: Google Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
Consent and tracking permission
- European Economic Area, United Kingdom and Switzerland: Users in these regions are shown a consent form for personalized ads through Google’s consent management tool. If you don’t consent, only non-personalized ads are shown.
- iOS: The App asks for Apple’s App Tracking Transparency permission to access the advertising ID. You can fully use the App without allowing it; you’ll just see less personalized ads.
- Android: You can reset or delete your advertising ID in your phone’s Settings > Google > Ads (or Privacy > Ads).
App updates
The App may download small updates from the servers of Expo (650 Industries, Inc.). To deliver an update, technical information such as IP address, platform and app version may be processed. This information isn’t used to identify you.
Age requirement
The App contains questions and dares intended for adults and is meant for users aged 18 and over. It is not directed at anyone under 18 and does not knowingly collect information from them. Ads shown in the App are limited to a maximum content rating of “Teen (T)”.
Your rights
You have rights under Turkey’s Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Because we don’t store your personal data, you can remove the information on your device by uninstalling the App. For requests about advertising data, you can use Google’s privacy tools or contact us.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always published on this page and the date above is updated.
