In short: The app doesn’t ask for an account and doesn’t collect information about you or send it to us. Your checklists, check marks and settings stay on your phone. Reminders are scheduled by your phone’s own notification system. Ads in the app are shown by Google AdMob, and Google processes some device information for advertising under its own policy.
This policy explains what information the “Kontrol Sende” mobile app (the “App”), developed by XanApps (Gökhan Eksan), uses and how.
Information stored on your device
The following is stored only in your device’s storage and is never sent to us or to any other server:
- The items in your checklists, items you add or remove, and the name of your own category
- Which items you checked and when, and the time of your last full check
- Your theme, language, sound effect and reminder settings
Deleting the App deletes this information. If your phone’s own backup is turned on (for example Android’s automatic backup to your Google account), this information may be included in your device backup; that backup is made by Google or Apple under your account and settings.
Notifications
If you turn on “Remind me when I leave” or “Daily reminder”, the App schedules local notifications on your phone about unchecked items. These notifications are created entirely on your device; neither their content nor your checklist is sent to any server. Notification permission is optional: you can turn reminders off in the App’s Settings, and notification permission off in your phone’s settings, at any time.
App updates
So that small fixes can arrive without waiting for a store update, the App sends an update check to Expo’s update server (EAS Update) when it opens. This request contains only technical information: your device platform (Android or iOS), the app and runtime version, the update channel, and a random installation ID created when the App is installed. This ID is not linked to your name, email address, phone number or advertising ID, does not identify you personally, and is replaced by a new one if you delete and reinstall the App. Your IP address also reaches the server as a technical part of delivering the request. Your checklists and settings are not included. Expo processes this information on our behalf only to deliver updates and run the service.
Information we don’t collect
The App doesn’t ask you to create an account. It doesn’t access or collect personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, location, contacts, photos or microphone. We have no analytics or tracking system of our own.
Advertising (Google AdMob)
The App is free and shows a banner ad at the bottom of the screen through Google’s advertising service, AdMob. To show and measure ads, Google may collect and process:
- Your device’s advertising identifier (Android Advertising ID, or iOS IDFA if you allow it)
- IP address and approximate location (country/city level, inferred from the IP address)
- Technical information such as device model, operating system and language
- Your interactions with ads (impressions and clicks)
This data is processed directly by Google under Google’s own policies; no information that personally identifies you reaches us. For details see the Google Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
Consent and tracking permission
- European Economic Area, United Kingdom and Switzerland: Users in these regions are shown a consent form for personalised ads through Google’s consent management tool. If you don’t consent, only non-personalised ads are shown.
- iOS: The App asks for Apple’s “App Tracking Transparency” permission to access the advertising identifier. You can use the App fully even if you decline; you will then see less personalised ads.
- Android: You can reset or delete your advertising ID in your phone’s Settings > Google > Ads (or Privacy > Ads).
Children
The App is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from this age group.
Your rights
You have rights under Turkey’s Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Since we don’t store your personal data, you can remove the information on your device by deleting the App. For requests about advertising data, you can use Google’s privacy tools or contact us.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always published on this page and the date above changes.
